Google review signs for pet groomers and vets

Nobody reads reviews more carefully than someone choosing who will look after their dog. And few customers are happier to write one than an owner collecting a freshly groomed pet. The pickup counter is where those two meet.
At pickup, not drop-off
At drop-off the owner is anxious. At pickup, with a clean, happy animal and the bill at the register, they are relieved and grateful. Put the sign beside the cash register where they pay.
For vet clinics
Not every visit ends well, so judge the moment. A routine checkup or vaccination is a good time; a difficult appointment is not. The sign can stay on the counter, and staff simply do not point to it when it would be unkind.
Asking some clients and not others because of how the visit went is fine; asking only the clients you expect to rate you highly, as a policy, is review gating.
Before-and-after photos
Groomers live on photos. Owners often snap one at pickup. A review with that photo does more for your listing than anything you could post yourself.
Questions, answered
- What if the owner is holding a leash and a dog?
- A tap needs only one hand. That is a real advantage over a QR code that needs aiming.
- Will pets chew the stand?
- On a counter it is out of reach. On a low reception desk, keep it back from the edge.
