Collecting reviews across several locations
25 August 2026 · 4 min read
With more than one site, the usual failure is not effort — it is reviews landing on the wrong listing, or one branch quietly carrying the group.
One listing, one link, one set of signs
Every branch needs its own verified Business Profile and its own review link, because each chip holds exactly one URL. Order signs per site and label the boxes; a stand that ends up at the wrong branch sends that branch's reviews elsewhere.
Compare branches by rate, not by total
A flagship store serving triple the customers should collect triple the reviews. Track reviews per hundred customers, or per week per site, so a small branch doing well is not buried by a big one doing badly.
Keep replies local
Replies written centrally read like a call centre. Let each manager answer their own reviews in their own words — customers can tell, and so can the people reading before they choose which branch to visit.
Questions, answered
- Can one chip point at a group landing page?
- Technically yes, but every extra click loses people, and reviews must land on a specific listing anyway.
- How do franchises handle this?
- Same way: one profile per location, signs per location, and group reporting on top.
