Google review signs for bakeries

A bakery has two kinds of customer: the regulars who come every morning, and the visitors who found you on the map. Reviews from the first bring in the second — but regulars rarely think to write one unless something reminds them.
Placing it on a bakery counter
Next to the cash register, never in front of the display case. The case is what sells; the sign is for the moment after, when the box is being tied and the card is being tapped on the reader.
Asking during the morning rush
In a queue there is no time for a conversation. Leave the sign turned toward the customer and let it do the asking. On a quiet afternoon, mention it out loud to the regulars you know by name — they are the ones most willing to help.
Weekends and visitors
Weekend customers are more often first-timers who found you by search. They are also more likely to post photos. A sign by the register catches them before they walk out with the box.
Questions, answered
- Will flour and crumbs damage it?
- No. The acrylic stand wipes clean with a damp cloth, and the chip is sealed inside.
- Can customers review after they leave?
- Hand regulars a tap card. It opens the same review form, so they can tap it at home with their coffee.
